A worktop routing jig for creating mitre joints in laminated, timber and compact laminate surfaces.

Indexed Backsets for 600, 616, 635, and 650mm worktops allow the female joint to be setup quickly.
33mm Mitre Inset to suit all postformed, radiused and chamfered worktop materials.
CNC-Machined Compact Grade HPL provides precision, strength and durability
400mm Radius for breakfast bar and peninsula trimming.
Preset Connector Bolt Recesses accommodate standard 150mm worktop bolts.
35mm Hinge / ¾” BSP Recess for surface-mount monobloc tap and concealed hinge installation.
Requires: ½”/12mm Plunge Router (50mm plunge depth), ½”/12mm Router Cutter (12.7mm cut diameter x 50mm cut length), 30mm Guide Bush, and 2 x clamps.

My worktop jig instructions say a 30mm guide bush and a 12.7mm cutter I have a long 50mm x 12.00mm cutter with my lock jig why cant I use this and what will happen if I do.

The worktop jigs are designed to work with a GB30A guide bush and A 12.7mm cutter the male and female curves on the jig are matched with 12.7mm cutters if you use a 12mm cuter the radiuses will not come together properly.

When Using Trend’s Kitchen Worktop Jigs, can you use a different combination of cutter and guide bush E.G 12mm Cutter & 30mm Guide bush?

No, the correct combination of 12.7mm diameter cutter and 30mm Guide bush has to be used as the offset needed between cutter and guide bush is 8.7mm, any other combination will result in a poor joint.
